The Summit Racing Mustang show that is. Or more importantly  the cookout at my house afterwards. It's getting close (a week from Saturday, the 29th). I'd like to say that I need to know this for planning purposes, but really I just want to know! So once you know if you are coming or not for sure, please reply to this post.

If you are, please take this short survey:

1. Are you bringing your Mustang?
2. Are you entering the show with your Mustang?
3. Are staying the whole day?
4. Are you coming to the cookout at my house?
5. Why the Hell not? - Oops, sorry, I guess I shouldn't say that until I know your answer to question 4, huh?
6. Are you bringing anyone with you?

Cookout details
It'll be simple, hamburgers and dogs or something, drinks, etc... We have a small pool (~40" x 18') so if you or your kids feel like swimming, bring a suit! The cookout will start right after the show, which is 9-5, and maybe even sooner! Anyone is welcome (not just VMFr's), as long as they have a true appreciation for Mustangs. I may ask that people contribute something in the way of food or drink, but that will depend on how many are coming. Hope to see you all there!

It sounds like everyone will be at the show in the afternoon, right?
How about we meet at Bob's (RTM) car at 2 pm? It's the bright blue one in his sig pic. A friend of mine is also going to have his blue-green '67 GT-350 in the show. His name is JD, so stop and say hi if you see him.
See everyone Saturday!

Awww...Jim misses me  ...sorry I didnt respond sooner...I have been out of town (state) since Thursday visiting my sister...while me and swmbo were driving, I convinced her that the Summitt show and Jims cook-out would be a good time :highfive: ..Looks like we will be there....to answer the questions, no I will not be bringing my car...or should I say the pieces I have to make one..lol...so of course it wont be in the show...Im not sure what time we will get there, but I assume it will be late morning...or early after-noon...I plan on attending Jims cook-out after the show, but not sure how long...my wife isnt quite as social as I am..lol...should be long enough to drink Jims beer  ..and as noted...Ill be bringing swmbo (Sherrie..as she prefers to be called :p )..If anyone knows of other VMF members who hasnt posted here, but will have their cars there, let us know who and what their car looks like ..hope to see you all on Sat.!

I should be to the show before 12:00 which I think is the cut off for the car show. I would be there sooner but the wife works a 12 hour shift the night before the car show. She is going to be very tired on Saturday.

I have no problem setting up a meeting time around my car. Just set a time some time after 1:00 and I will make sure I am there to meet every one.

Just got done watching the tour de france so now I will go out and see if the mustang is fixed and maybe finish a few some things on it with the little man helping me.

Bob,
Sounds great! Hope you work out your ignition issues. Can we use your car as a place to meet again? It's an easy target because of the color scheme. Let us know if that's okay, and what time would be good to meet. If not, there are other cars I can point people to, so it's no big deal. In fact, regardless of where we meet, I think I'll post a list of cars (some aren't VMF cars) that people I know will have there so that everyone knows. I hope the weather is better than yesterday - It rained the entire day here!

If you are not staying the whole day, does that mean you won't be coming to the cookout afterwards?
Sorry about that. I meant we may not stay at the show all day and head over to your place before 5:00.

Neither of my two other buddys will be able to make it but me and the family should be there.

I installed a new ign. switch last night and installed a speedometer cable as well. The speedo will be off because I need a 25 tooth cable gear and the highest they make is a 23 so I have to look into changing out the gear on the output shaft from an 8 to a 7 or 6 to get the correct speedo reading.

The ign. switch will be tested today. The last time I shut my car off it kept on running so the switch must have stay stucked and drained the battery because I reconnected the brown wire on the solenoid.

I'm going to try and install my trunk key as well but I have to go get some parts out of storage today.

Jim,
1. I wish! :(
2. See #1
3. I plan on it, won't get there before noonish though.
4. Yes
5. Let me know ahead of time if you will need a contribution, I usually don't carry cash anymore.

Looks like just me, my wife works that day.

I should be there unless something comes up.

I will enter the car show but I am not sure if I will stay all day or not.

The wife and kids will be coming but they will be driving seperate. Not sure if any one else is coming. I know one of my friends will not be able to make it.

What do you want me to bring? I will more than likley have a cooler full of stuff for the family anyways.

I still have to install a new ign. switch in my car.

Yes, everyone's invited. My address is:

461 Southeast Avenue (RT 532)
Tallmadge, Ohio 44278

You get off at RT 532 to go to Summit Racing (Exit 29). To get to my house, get off I-76 and drive north past Summit Racing. You'll come to a 6 corner intersection which you will go straight through. My house is a little less than a mile down the road from there on the right. There are currently a bunch of fill dirt piles in my front yard out by the road, and the house sits about 500 feet off the road. It's easy to find.
