I am thinking of buying a used 410 stroker for my 67. Anything I should be concerned with? Here's the specs: 351 Windsor 410 cubic inch stroker motor, RHS 215cc intake runner iron cylinder heads 2.08" intake. RHS #35303-02. 1.60" intake. Edelbrock Torker II intake port matched to heads. Ford Motorsport Z-303 hydraulic roller camshaft 228/228 duration at 0.050" .552 lift intake/exhaust. 1995 Ford F-150 block 4.04 bore with 4.0" stroke. 475HP/500 foot pounds torque. Probe pistons, roller rockers, scat crank nodular iron forged I-beam rods. 10:1 compression ratio. GM HEI style distributor. Comes with shorty stainless headers. I know I'd need to get an oil pan, pump and pickup. I've got a 3.5 posi rearend and an FMX transmission- Thinking of upgrading to an AOD.Thanks

I'm looking for a strong, streetable motor. I won't be racing it but I'll be testing it out every time I get on the highway! I've got a 351w from the previous owner, not sure of the internals but I remember driving it and it ran good - like a stock motor. It's currently on a stand. I want something with a little more cam, not too radical. I'm thinking 400-500 hp. This motor is turnkey and a great price. It's about a 1/3 of what I could build mine for.

Says he'll pull the pan and show me the main and rod bearings. No issues with install height vs. my 69 351w?

+1....It will be exactly the same as what you have now depending on what intake you have on your old engine. I believe the torker is fairly flat compared to an air gap or vic jr which is what I would be running on that engine.

I've got a factory cast iron 4 barrel intake. Thanks for all the advice. I'm waiting to hear back from him. Hopefully I'll have another motor this weekend.

I made the mistake of buying a used engine from a reputable builder. Never again. You have no idea if everything was machined/assembled properly. Build your own or have one built so you know exactly what is in it.
