Anyone using Baer bump-steer kit with a TCP manual rack?

With the tie rods adjusted all the way in I still have a lot of toe in, I would say at least a 1/2"

Has anyone else experienced this?

The three obvious options:
1) Get shorter tie rods
2) Shorten the Baer adjusters
3) The TCP rack actually has two pickup points for the tie rod. Instructions say use the outer holes, but if I screwed out the tie rods an inch I could use the inner holes. Not sure I like the idea of only having 1/2-3/4" of the tie rod and rod end threaded into the adjuster.

What I would do is check it against your old tie rod set up. If it would work out fine then just shorten the Baer set up.

I have had a few customers need to shorten their Baer Trackers for custom installs like this.

Just trim an equal amount off the end of each tube. You should aim for at least 1.5 x dia. of thread engagement each end.

Yes, I had the same problem. I had to shorten the tubes.
I'm curious:

1) How much did you have to shorten them?
2) Did you have to thread the holes deeper after cutting or was there adequate thread depth?

Thanks,

Jeff

I have the TCP manual R&P with Baer Trackers and I had to cut down the Baer adjustment tubes, also.
