I got a timing cover set which had an unusal timing cover seal with a very large flange on it. Classic stuff here - 1994 block with 1969 timing cover. I am worried that there is not enough clearance between the oil slinger and the new seal - maybe 0.012 inch. Anyone come across this one??? Its definitely supposed to be installed from the inside - seal spring is toward the crank...
