My fastback suspension is completely aftermarket, from AJE front K member with coil over strut's , Mustang spindles hubs and struts, Rear end is Heidts four link & panard bar with coil over single adjustment. now that give an idea of my suspension here's my question, I'm replacing 4 FR500 17 x 9 that had 275/45 ZR17's for tires, I want 17 x 7" in front & 17 x 8 in the rear using 245/45 17 and 225/45 17 in front. it seams I'm limited to 94 to 04 style wheels with 5" backspacing
need sources, ideas, suggestions Please

Why run a 7" in front? You have a 9" up there now? I'd run an 8" with a 225/45/17 up front and a 9" in the rear with a 255/40. Those tires have equal height. That's what I am running on my 67 and they fit well. Actually I'm running a 9.5" in the rear but had a 9" wide rear with my prior set-up. I'm running trans am race engineering superlites. 4.5" BS front and 5.5" BS rear with a 1/4" spacer out back. Good luck!

Nice article on Doc Stang's ride. I have a file containing pics of various builds to take cues from....won't be exactly like his but the red with black trim, the R apron, wide Bullett style wheels....
