hmmmmm. Nice piece. From the action it is getting, I suspect it'll go over $400.

Does anyone know if that is, in fact, a Mustang 4100? IIRC they put them on everything from 289s to 428s that year.

I looked at that guy's other auctions - he sure has alot of NOS stuff.

It may be legit, but I'd be a little wary, only because my 4100 came back from Pony Carbs looking every bit as nice as that.....

Could be a nicely restored carb, and the buyer pays a premium for a NOS Autolite box! ;)

If that is an NOS carb, I'd say chances are good that it would need a rebuild. You really think that rubber would last that long? Doubt it. However, if all you had to do was put new rubber in it, it's still probably gonna be worth it.
