Hi all. I have a 9" rear on my 66 mustang. I am in the process of rebuilding the suspension (just finished the front and making my way to the back). Currently I have a 28 spline open diff. I have a 347 that puts around 350 hp/tq to the wheels at a mile high elevation through a T5. Do you think I should consider upgrading to a Trac-Lok or TrueTrac while the rear end is torn apart? Would it be best to put in a new complete third member or is it better to just upgrade the differential? Or should I leave it as a project for another day? I have never really worked on rear ends before so don't exactly know what I would be getting myself into. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
