I had a Ford book back in the 70s that had different items in it, 289 powered Pintos, flying Pinto-planes, etc. It also had an intake that accepted two inline 4-V carbs. Pretty cool items, wonder why they didn't catch on?

If I'm not mistaken, that is the manifold AND carb in the picture. I's an inline 4V

2 inline 4v, its still around, I'm working on it now. Edelbrock has one that accepts AFB carbs. Weiand has one that accepts Holleys but is a high rise tunnel ram(almost a foot tall). Check these out:

i saw one like that on ebay before a long time ago, it was for a boss 302 and boasted 1440 cfm, or thats what the seller claimed.

My setup will someday be capable of flowing 2000 CFM. Of course, a 302 won't be able to use that much air, but that doesn't matter with EFI.

The inline 4V looks really odd...

Looks like the mate to the inline 4 carb on ebay a week or so ago. Big Bucks set up with no performance proof? (yeah I am broke and has bowed to SWMBO

Anyone ever see a Cross Boss 302?
Similar carb setup but had different intake, sort of cross fire.
Very cool and rere I think.
Saw one go on eBay for about 3000
