I had a Ford book back in the 70s that had different items in it, 289 powered Pintos, flying Pinto-planes, etc. It also had an intake that accepted two inline 4-V carbs. Pretty cool items, wonder why they didn't catch on?
2 inline 4v, its still around, I'm working on it now. Edelbrock has one that accepts AFB carbs. Weiand has one that accepts Holleys but is a high rise tunnel ram(almost a foot tall). Check these out: http://www.holmanmoody.com/parts/hardpart.htm
Anyone ever see a Cross Boss 302?
Similar carb setup but had different intake, sort of cross fire.
Very cool and rere I think.
Saw one go on eBay for about 3000
