I just went for to refuel at 3 am. Then I decided to drive around. I stopped for a while but when tried starting it again, the starter keeps on running. I don't know what to do, I turned the key to off but it's still running. I went out of the car opened the hood and pulled the brown wire from the solenoid... it stopped. I reconnected the brown wire to the solenoid and tried starting it again... it's back to normal. I'm just curious what's the culprit here? 65 200 C4 from Manila

And you get a shiny new solenoid!
But I 5th the motion, sound like a solenoid problem.

This makes 4 votes for solenoid. Even if it's not the solenoid, they only cost about $8 and take 5 minutes to replace, might as well do it.

Sounds like it's time for a new solenoid--I think the contacts were stuck and continued to supply voltage to the starter
