I recently purchased a 71 Mach 1. I am having trouble identifying the seats currently installed. Do you recognize them? Trying to figure out if they have been switched or recovered.

They look to be shaped differently than the 71 Mach seat. They almost look like a mid-seventies Camaro seat. :}0

Do they recline? (None of the 71s recline). Mach1s didn't have cloth either.

The back seats are just black vinyl like I would expect. These are interesting, the cars been sitting since 89, so it wasnt a recent swap, but they don't look to be the right shape. They're not bad seats, but I would want to recover them and need to know what they are. Would there be a part number somewhere?
A good auto upholstery shop could make them match the back seats.
Or bring a pict of a Mach1 seat and they could match it.

That's not too bad. My '65 Galaxie has AMC Pacer bucket seats in it!
So I found a part number on the bottom foam pad, and when I google it I come up with a seat pad for a Firebird 73-76. Sigh....
Well the only way you can get a Firebird seat to go faster is to move the seat to a FORD Mustang. That's your problem!
