I know a guy that did that to a '67 fastback in the late 70's!

 

Sad, very sad to see what happenes to some of these cars. My guess is that it was done a long time ago before Mustangs were so collectible. If they didn't hack up the car too bad you might be able to unbolt the mustang from the truck chassis and bolt the stock suspension back on.

At least it wasn't from one of us Southern Boys. I could just hear the word "REDNECK" being used all over the place!
Although back in the 70's there wuz a Camaro done the same way around town.

I've seen that one listed in a post in the past 6 months. I'm pretty sure is was a link to an Ebay auction then too!

In the early 80's, MM had a picture of a 68 convertible on a 4x4 with a matching Mustang made into a trailer (nose/tail) with a single axle.
