where is the buck tag located

I have been doing so reading and they talk abou a buck tag. I was woundering where it is. I never remember seeing it when I restored my car. Thanks for your help

Some are found on the radiator core support and some are found on the fender aprons back by the hood hinges. What was already mentioned San Jose cars rarely had them.

They sort of look like the door tags but don't have the VIN number. Mine show some of the other options that the car came with from the factory (like vinyl roof).

I have a Metuchen(NJ) car, and the buck tag is located on the top left side just inside of the fender. It even has info re: type of top on convert., mine's power and there is a code for it. I also have a rubber seal on top of the upper rad. support which goes all the way across which I'm told not all '66 factories put on.

If it was built in New Jersey (factory code "T") the buck tag is typically on the top of the passenger side rear inner fender. If it was built in Dearborn (F) the buck tag is typically on the passenger side of the radiator core support, right in front of the battery.
