Pretty sure these were original. No wonder the car made all kinds of noise on the suspension

Been cleaning and replacing the items on the power steering. And saw these. Had been planning to replace any way. ( good thing I ordered all new suspension parts about a year ago.)Both springs were also missing the top insulators.

Yep, those are shot but you'd be amazed at what roller spring perches would do in comparison to even new rubber stock units. They really free up the suspension to move and react vs. being in constant bind of the rubber style. I imagine you'll feel some difference with the new rubber at least.

I put in some with urethane bushings

I was able to freely rotate the shaft by hand so I assume the will be way better.
I would like to do the roller perches but I have other things I can spend $400 on in my car now. Maybe down the road.
Glad you used some that rotate more freely than the stock solid rubber.
The ORP roller perches are $199/ pair, not each: Opentracker Roller Spring Perches
ROLLER SPRING PERCHES – STREET PERFORMANCE – (1960-1977) FORD
$199.00

The ones in my 67 vert looked fine when I removed them while replacing the front suspension aa sid all the rubber bushings.

After getting the upper arms off & laying on the ground I could not move the spring pearches any with my 200 pound self standing on them. Among the items installed was a set of open tracker roller pearches, worth every penny they cost.
