Wow, sometimes things actually go smoothly

I don't usually post progress reports, but the last couple of days have been fun. Welded up a body dolly, got it under the car and dropped all the suspension off back and front.

But what made me post was the front leaf spring bolts. I'd been there before and was expecting, well, what most of you guys know. Rusted bolts and maybe a nice 30 minute reciprocating saw work out. But obviously someone had replaced the springs before, because once they were unbolted I could actually pull them out by hand easily. Was not expecting that!

I've run out of things to unbolt, so I'll have to start ripping the trunk floors and rear rails out that need replacing. Not looking forward to taking them out just because it's something new for me and making sure they get put back exactly where they belong has me nervous.

I got lucky when I replaced my leaf springs back in 09. Hear a lot of the issues and cutting would solve the problem. But I soaked the bolts with wd-40 over night and by the next day, they came out with ease. Not saying they'd be stuck or not, but just to take precautions incase I would've had to get into cutting.
