I'd like to know where to look for the date code on original FORD Mustang jacks. I've got at least 5 of them from 1964-1968 and would like to tag them. Also here, what was the difference for the coarse thread VS. the thin thread on the long screw rod?
Also...I have a set of 1964-1966,told to me that they are NOS Ford bucket seat tracks. I'd like to know where to look on the tracks or wherever to find the FOMOCO script to verify that they are in fact NOS and NOT repro? They are not in a Ford box and are complete with all hardware, nuts, bolts, springs, the like. Will 64-66 seat tracks work up to 1968 perhaps?...thanks for the help!

64 Seat tracks tend to be different on very early cars. The bolt spacing is actually a little different than the later cars and they do not interchange without clearancing. Also, the passenger side seat track on very early 64 1/2s is non adjustable. Not sure how to ID your stuff other than that detail.

I've only seen/own examples of 68/69 jacks and I've only seen partial date codes like this "8 D". I've seen original jacks with and without the date code and with and without a FoMoCo stamp.
