2 Questions trunk condensation / front signal

i'm looking for some help with a few problems first things first 66 coupe 6 cyl auto

problem 1 just finished removing light rust and painting trunk the car is garaged and never sees rain yet when i take it out on the weekends i am finding condensation under the trunk mat! would replacing the trunk lid seal help?

problem 2 front pass. side turn signal not working. all other signal lights work fine along with all head/tail lights replaced bulb (duh) checked connections and replaced housing unit with a new one still no luck! any help would be great thanks Ed

If it doesn't see rain, it probably doesn't get out in the fog, dew, etc., which means it's probably not condensation. The water has to come from somewhere.Could be water seeping through the deck seal when you wash the car. In that case, yes a new seal would fix it. Nothing else there IMO.

Did you check the ground wire for the front turn signal. Possibly clean the area and and screw and try it again. Other than that, no idea. Good Luck, Top

If your trunk liner is made of a non-breathable material, moisture can build up under it. Just a high humidity environment can do this, and just because the "fog" isn't in your garage, doesn't mean that the relative humidity of your garage air is any lower than that outside.

If it was gas, I'm guessing that you could smell that.
