read the "1994 and 95" and "Today's V-6 Mustangs" sections. should partially answer your question.

 

I believe that the T50 is Tremec's version of the T-5 (which Tremec purchased the rights to from Borg Warner). It was used in the 3.8 V6 Mustangs. Is that what yours came out of? Not sure if the bellhousing and input shaft will work behind a 302.

IF if does fit, it would be OK behind a mild 302 since the V6 was rated at 190 hp that year. I wouldn't think it would last behind a high torque engine though.

 

If it came off a 4.6, the bell housing won't match up to a 302.
