OK ... I am going to try this one more time. PLEASE REMEMBER, I MAKE NO CLAIMS OF MY CAR BEING A FIRST, AND I AM NOT STATING IT IS FOR SALE. In an attempt to squelch claims of fraud and prove the authenticity of 5F07U100211 I had the car examined today. The car was also moved from the barn to a more secure location. Photos and details have been uploaded to mustang211.com . All previous threads I have started on this subject have ended up locked. Please discuss this like mature adults this time. I am simply making this story available because there seems to be a number of people who are interested.

Awesome. I was going to go to the DMV office in Raleigh and do a title search just because the $10 or $20 entrance fee was going to be worth the entertainment factor. I have the same type of documentation for both of my cars which shows they are both around 85K original miles. Statement of Origin. Beautiful!

Great find - thanks for sharing with the Mustang community. If it were my car I would probably wait a few months to digest what it exactly is that you have and then have a proper restoration performed by qualified people who can document everything - and then I would sell it. It's not going to be worth the $5.5 million that some people think an early car is worth, but it will bring a good return and you can then get yourself a nice restored mustang you can drive and have some $$ in the bank.

Mustang211, I along with others very much appreciate that you are
sharing information on your car, thanks very much! Charles Turner is
certainly the right choice for a very knowledgable Mustanger, MCA
judge, restorer etc. to authenticate your car.
I look forward to learning more as time goes on.

Let me also thank you for the way you have handled all the crap that has been thrown your way. Many people would have put this forum in their rear view mirror and just gone away, but you've handled this matter with class and I appreciate that. As the previous threads have shown, there are plenty of people who use the anonymity of the internet to flex muscles that they don't have in real life, and that can be a real liablilty to internet forums. You've had this car looked at by someone who is tops in the field and provided photos of some of the things that make this car unique. I don't think you've got a car that's worth an exorbitant amount of money, but I think it is significant with regard to being a fairly original pre-production car and you've got a great opportunity to document a part of the history of our cars that there is not a lot known about. I look forward to more posts regarding this car and I'm confident you will restore this car to the level it need to be restored to.

Cool! Great pics!

I would save the chrome dealer logo thing and reinstall it post restoration.

the "pre production" sticker is an AWESOME find! It is hard to tell what else is on it, hopefully is has some good info on there! Thanks for sharing this incredible find with us all!

looks like the original purchase date was june 7th 1964. I wonder if Hull Dobbs has any othe documentation?
