Dry the distributor cap out. It's probably wet inside.

 

a) Check to see that you didn't knock the lead off the coil+ post with your pressure washing.
b) Check to see that you didn't knock the lead off the solenoid "I" post with your pressure washing.
c) Check to see that you didn't force a bunch of moisture inside your distributor cap with your pressure washing.

 

I don't think is the distributor, the water didn't go there. Solenoid and battery were a bit wet, changed the solenoid to be sure but nothing. The starter cranks just fine so I don't think the battery is compromised

 

Tried to open the cap, no water inside. Any other suggestion?

 

I'm a bit confused: was the hood down and you washed the car, or, did you, at some
point, raise the hood and washed the engine compartment? Your first statement
sounds as if you had the car running and went through a self wash car wash.

 

The hood was always down, i did wash the car with the high pressure hose so I think the water filtrtrr somwere it shouldn't go

 

I had a similar problem years ago, we had a hurricane. large amounts of rain. Car would not start. I went to auto store and bought some type of wire or electrical drying spray. used it and it started right up. 30 years ago, but they must still have something like it.

When you checked the cap, you flipped it over to see the contacts? And no a bit of moisture?
