I've been on alot of the classic mustang sites and there are more wheels than I can shake a stick at. I would like to go original for my '67 coupe. Can someone help me find what was stock or at least an upgraded option for that specific year? Sure appriciate your help - thank you

Stock for many '67's would have been plain steel rims with a choice of different hub caps. The major wheel upgrade and correct for '67 would have been 14" "style steel" wheels such as on my '67 in my pic. Vendors now make those in 15". There are also more choices such as "period correct" for the '60's which would be wheels used on cars then but maybe not just in '67. Many of these choices are listed in mustang vendor catalogs.

IIRC, the standard V8 wheel in 67 was 14x5. The Styled Steel wheel was 14x5.5. The 390 cars had a 14x6 steel wheel, unless they went with the SS, which was 14x5.5. There was a 15" wheel listed, but I've never seen one. As mentioned, you can get 67 styled wheels in custom sizes, such as 14x7 and 15x7.

If you want to be really correct, you need Wheels with the '5 Fingers' surrounding the Lug Holes. these were used on all 64-67's and finished out on Early 68's. 1968 started the switch to a Solid Ring surrounding the Lug Holes. This is regarding Stock Steel Wheels, Not Styled Steels.

All the Shelbys had the HD suspension. Almost no other Mustang did.
