67 steering sector shaft size?

I have a 67 coupe and am considering putting in a Borgeson power steering box but I don't know what size sector shaft my car has.
Borgeson list 2 boxes for 67s-one fits a 1" sector shaft (which suits earlier models as well) and the other fits a 1-1/8" sector shaft (which suits 67-70 models).
Does it depend on when the car was built or something else?

Build date and engine size. Go under the car and measure it.

1" sector box will have a 1 1/8" nut securing the pitman
1 1/8" sector will have a 1 5/16" nut.

Bingo! You can also look at the tag number and cross reference it.

Except the six cylinder with power steering.
