After cutting up some new tires, the tire shop states that I will need an alignment done. What would adjustable front strut rods do for the car? Would it handle any better? I thought that I had a "performance" alignment done. I did the 1" UCA drop and installed 1" lowering 480lb springs and Koni shocks, a 1" sway bar Monte Carlo Bar, Export Brace and Roller Perches.
Thanks!

Several advantages to the adjustable strut rods. First, you can fine tune castor, because they're adjustable. Second, castor doesn't change as the car is moving because its a solid connection between the frame and the lca. The stock strut rod has bushings at its connection to the frame, hence some fore and aft movement of the lca will occur.

The up and down movement of the lca is less binding because most adjustable rods have a heim joint at the frame, allowing the rod free up and down movement.

I'm installing a "home made" set like the cobra automotive's. Actually most of the parts came as gifts from Mustang Buddies. Thought the heim joints & threaded barrels are available from places like Speedway.
