I would say the seller of those heads must not be real proud of them. He did not list any flow figures on them at all. If you want to get a new product out you better brag them up a bit and show proof to back it up. Until I saw a test on them I would stay away.

 

I'm with mod9. First thing I noticed was no flow numbers. Second thing I noticed was 210cc runners. You'd better have a very stout lower end to make use of runners that big.

The ones on eBay are supposed to be Victor Jr. equivalents, which are generally not recommended for a small street engine.

 

Actually, I think it's more likely those are Chinese knockoffs of the Vic Jr. Lot of those floating around these days.

If someone does have the Pro Toplines, they're likely to let it be known. It's a good head.

As a former foundry worker...(have the scars to prove it, too)...I would refuse to buy just based on that picture alone.

Joe's right. I have a set of ProTopline 180's and the ones in the first add are NOT PT's. Look closely at the stud bosses under the guide plates. Knock off's are square, PT's are rounded. PT's are very good heads IMO, and as cast, outflow AFR's. FYI, They're also a Dart style head meaning the plugs are different size and are angled differently than stock iron heads. On my SBF Stroker, that meant changing from Tri-Y’s to a Dart compatible header.
