I have a 1970 fast back and I want to run 17s in the
front and 18s in the rear according to my measurements
I can run 245/45/17 in front and 295/35/18 in the rear
what I need to know is has any one done this before?
and what back spacing was used especially the rears I
am going to be using a Lincoln rear end with discs which I believe is a bit narrower but I don't know how
much any help will be appreciated
Thanks

Here's a good place to start.

Looks like you'll want 17x8 fronts with 4.5 - 4.75 B/S.
You'll have to get some rear end measurements to recalculate B/S with the new rear. With a stock rear, you're looking at 18x9 wheels with about 5.5" B/S. Don't think you can fit 10" wheels. Those 295's will be a TIGHT fit.

thanks
that's the same I came up with but Pirelli recommends 10"
for the 295/35/18 the tire it self physically fits in the wheel
well no problem but I need the correct back space to order
my wheels I think I'm going to have to wait for the rear end
to be in place in order to take an accurate measurement
