I don't have a factory tach, so I marked that part out. If this works, I can handle it.
Easier than that. Get a 6" bullet connector extension (trailer parts) and spice into that on the bench. Go under and simply plug the tee you made into the bullet connection, hopefully without pulling the seat. :sneaky:

Not pushing for other reasons, but only to report that most installing the P-II typically report better starting, idle, and tip-in throttle response, versus P-I. No scientific numbers here, just customer satisfaction comments in-general. This is likely due to the substantially increased spark energy (fat and longer duration spark), on-top of marginal original ignition condition.

While it also requires specific tuning for results, the P-II can also ignite lean mixtures better than either P-I or P-III, making power plus economy more achievable. In testing, we found high-energy sparks can fully ignite 1/2 to 1 AFR leaner than stock or CDI at highway cruise. With diligent tuning, this has made a huge difference in unexpected ways, such as saving almost 300 pounds of fuel weight in offshore boat racing from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini, or my 3/4-ton truck increasing from 9.5 to 13 MPG, a 38% increase. An exception, but I'm proud of that one. :sneaky:

So this then? Plug/play type deal. I have the connectors and wire to make it by hand. Any particular gauge?

For what we do with this car, outside last weeks Power Tour trip, the P-I should be fine. I was getting 20 mpg on the way home last week (thank you T5 swap) and otherwise we buzz around town in it.

Gotcha, thanks for all the help!
