Hi all,
Planning on making a trip to the U-Pull-it yard to look for a bench seat for the F-150 and a pair of buckets for the 66 coupe. We're looking for a set of low profile bucket seats. What makes of cars have you gotten seats from that fit nice in your mustang. Tracks are not an issue, I fan fab up new ones to make them work. I think fox body seats may sit too high I was thinking of Honda or other small compact cars.
Thanks

I like my Fiero's... I've heard that some VW and BMW have Recaro's.....

I recently put Fiero seats in my Mustang. Finding good donor seats is getting near impossible though. The way the Fiero seats are constructed makes them tough to fix. You might look into Miata seats.

Back in the 80's I did the Foxbody seats. I only had to drill 1 hole in each track to make the 65 tracks fit the seats. Might be something similar with newer seats Only you can't use the power seats- too tall. You have to remove the power section so they sit flat on the floor.

Some nice modern Mustang seats with heating and cooling already installed, airbags disabled or removed is probably what I would go for unless you gotta have something that was never pooted in. You can always re-upholster them.

Seriously David? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: OMG, that never crossed my mind. I will never drive anyone else's car again! And now I have to reupholster those super low mileage black 93 GT seats I have.

My son is 6'1" 210 and I,m not much smaller. I'm afraid foxbody seats might be too tight of a fit.

I have Miata seats in my fastback and they are about the size we're looking for.

10-14 seats fit as well. Just more side bolstering than the 05-09 counterparts

The seat backs line up level with the belt line and the design fits the original quite well. Reclining seat backs and a headrest are a plus

I run a set on mine. They have side airbags so I tell people my old car has airbags :ROFLMAO:
