Good Afternoon!

First and foremost – I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for submitting your Mustang into our SEMA “Celebration of Mustangs”

We had an overwhelming response. Our judges had a very hard time selecting just one from every year. (as you can see – there are a few years with more than one car. We decided to fill our missing years with other cool Mustangs).

1969 Mustang GT Convertible Red- David

This is the email I got today telling me we've been picked to take our cars to SEMA to be put on display. They only picked 1 car to represent each year, and, not only did we get picked for 64 1/2, but the 69 GT convert was picked as well. Now the fun part- getting 2 cars 2,500 miles to Las Vegas! Anyone got a 2 car trailer in Fla that I can rent or borrow??

Congratulations!! That's a pretty big honor!

When I sold my GT500, it was in November and had to meet the buyer in Va. I didn't want to us my open car hauler because or the weather up that way so I ran an ad on Craigslist for an enclosed trailer. It worked out perfect for me....

Another option - I've bought engines and parts from all over the states and have used UShip.com (Shipping Wars TV show) frequently. The are licenced and insured. I had positive experiences everytime.

Congrats! How about some pics of the cars that are going for those of us that haven't seen your rides? (You had the 64.5 @ charlotte, right?)

SEMA cars

Here's the 2 they picked. I have no problem driving the 2,500 miles to LV, but Terry doesn't want to drive alone. I spoke to one of our Pony Drive members and he may drive the 69 and we'll drive the 64. We will most likely drive straight there and meander on the way back. Lots of neat stuff along the way! I really didn't think we had much of a chance, as I'm sure they got a lot from all over the US. Always wanted to go to SEMA and, at Ford's invite, it'll really be special. The 64 was also invited to the Woodward Cruise Ford event in 2004, as the 1st of 40 cars to parade in front of the stage as Wilson Pickett sang "Mustang Sally".
