Why? Do you have a good reason not to use an original style replacement? It would make it easier to plug in a factory harness and use original wiring diagrams.

Once you go to an aftermarket fuse box now you have a custom wiring setup that only your car has. Don’t bother asking anyone else for help, it’s your baby and nobody will have a clue what you did to it.

 

I would replace with an original style if I could find one however that appears to be impossible so I don't have much choice.

More important, why are you replacing the fuse box?

 

Because the stock box is so corroded that the contacts basically disintegrated. This car spent many years too close to the ocean.
