While driving my 69 the other day everything was fine, but after about 1/2 hour on the road I noticed my turn signals stopped working. No big deal I thought, but then as it got dark and I turned my lights on, I noticed the dash and headlights flickering. The headlights were still illuminated, but you could see them getting brighter and dimmer, and brighter and dimmer.... When I stopped I checked the tail lights and they were not working at all (they had been before this). My first thought was a problematic headlight switch so I swapped it, but still have the same problem. My next thought would be a grounding problem but where would I check the ground? Any other thoughts/ideas?
