Hooker Comp. vs. Hooker Super Comp. Headers
I have a 1966 GT-350 that is basically stock. I have a vintage Paxton that I would like to (re)-install.
So I am thinking of changing the Tri-Y headers for something else in order to improve exhaust gas flow. Does anyone have any direct experience with a modern header that you could share with me?
Besides performance issues, I'm especially concerned with fitment and durability. If I go with a modern header, I'll definately be changing out the rest of the exhaust system as well. (Is anyone using the Dr. Gas crossover ?, ...how do you like it ?)
I hope to end up with a system that flows a lot better and isn't very much louder. Is that an impossible goal ?
thanks for the help,
