Ivy Green!

 

Hello.I'd have to say lime gold(slime green).That's about the only color that I just plain don't like on any year model or body style.I don't like the poppy red on a 65/66,but it looks great on a 69/70 fastback.There are a lot of colors that I don't like on one car but love it on another,but,in my opinion,lime gold is pretty hideous on any car.

I can actually apreciate (s)lime green. Not on any car I would own though, but I think it gets a little more bad hype than it deserves. My least fvorite color would have to be ivy gold. Just a sickly pale color. (S)lime green at least has more color to it.

 

Rember that purple one on scambay that had the gold 100 spoke daytona's. That gets my vote.

 

Has anyone ever seen Pagoda Green? I had a 64.5 coupe one time that color, what was Ford thinking, and the name too...

Sauterne gold (otherwise known as green) which is why we are changing the color of ours! Lime gold and pebble beige are not far behind.

 

RUST!! Other than that I can live with any factory color.

 

pebble beige gets my vote, all those bloody late 60's drab colors are ugly if you ask me. I like cars to be bright shiny colors.

 

I'm gonna get slammed for this, but here goes: I've never liked 1968 Acapulco Blue. I know, I know - it's a really popular color. And I can't exactly put my finger on what I have against it... I think it's just too blue for me! ::

On the other hand, I really like Lime Gold, and Honey Gold, and Seafoam Green, and a lot of the colors most folks don't care for.

Mom was right... I must like to be difficult.

 

my vote for ugliest goes to springtime yellow or any other pale yellow color

 

SlimeGreen, followed closely by Poopy-Red for 65.

From what I understand, Poopy-Red was changed to Calypso Coral circa 1969, and that color looks great on Mach1's and Bosses. Can anyone verify the paint code is the same?

Pebble Beige...that color belongs on a house, not a car!

 

PINK . . . yuck. Its a gurls color, gurls are icky...

 

I hate to knock the color of someone elses' car but I'll have to agree with the beige camp.

 

Primer gray... It makes me sad to think of a car being in a stalled state of restoration... no affront to those who are grey, cause I am too.

 

I know this is going to be so deep in the pile that no one will read it, but..............lime gold isn't that bad. There. I've said it. Pebble beige belongs on a four door. Ick. One of my employees has a 66-6 cyl. coupe in pebble beige. Screams boredom. Also coral (looks like peach sherbet). I remember routinely seeing a really nice 68 GT coupe in Billings, MT in the early 80's. A beautiful car, but that color was something else; non-PC moment: great for a girl.

 

Poppy red..can't make up it's mind if it wants to be red or orange..all it looks like to me is faded red..my second choice would be Calypso Coral..*YUCK*
