I have black widow widow makers and it makes a really unique sound

 

I really love the sound of the new mustang GT's but doubt I can make it sound like that.

 

The new mustangs sound horrible compared to a pushrod v8 the new ones are all rasp and noise

I like my 2.5" Magniflow stainless system. Mufflers are fairly quiet at idle and cruise, but wake up nicely when you get on the gas.

 

If you want "modern" sound you should probably use an x-pipe. The bigger the muffers are the more they usually will dampen. The larger the tube diameter are the more noise the car will make. Exhaust sound is so subjective that it's nearly impossible to make advise, the best is to hear a similar car that sounds "right" and then try to copy that exhaust.
