The bearings we use are rated at 32,000lbs. We've never had one fail or had a return from a customer.

For the 65-66 cars, we use a 1 3/8" hole saw to enlarge the opening of the arm for the sleeve. You need to be a good welder but I would not consider this a difficult project.

For the 67-73 cars, the sleeve is a direct replacement for the 1 7/16" bushing. We spot weld them in place to make sure they stay put.

If I had stock LCA's then I have no doubt that I could have handled the install myself in an afternoon. My LCA's being aftermarket is the only thing that caused my need to get clever. Not at all due to John's kit or assistance along the way.

In the end I am really happy with how they came out. And really looking forward to trying them out. Now I just need my new shock bearings and spacers from AFCO to show up and I will be in business.
