Im not really planning on installing a Custom AutoSound radio (never, they are cheaply made IMHO) or the old AM radio for a while since it needs rebuilding and was wondering if anyone made a radio delete.

Most restoration places carry them, but I know a lot of guys just leave the AM in the dash and then hook up a DIN sized radio in the glove box. You can run the AM if you want using the mono speaker in the dash or turn on the CD player and listen to it through speakers in the kick panels and package tray.
Thats kind of what I'm planning on. I'm gunna make a custom center console with a Alpine dvd player and 6.5" moniter (navigation, movies, etc). Then once the AM is working I'm gunna hook it up so I can run it throught the main head unit.
Like Yelostang said those vendors and more carry a repo of the radio delete plate. If you want see a photo of one click on my truck and there's one you can see a partial phtoto of with console I built. Just scroll down and click on Thumbnails.
