It turns out that Coupe won't let me sell him the '68 Coupe afterall and I won't get my $2500 unless he has a last minute change of mind. Last night I had a dream of that '68 FB I've been telling you guys about and woke up this morning with the '68 FB literally crawling through my head as soon as I awoke. Is this car meant for me or not? Will I be able to find a car that offers the same same stuff this car has at the same price? (3.50 9" rear posi, auto with shift kit, new floors, quarters, and torque boxes, MSD 351W, driveable, turn signal hood, in Kansas, and for 5.5k OBO)? It would be so darn hard to let it go, because it has made a serious grasp on me. I let my mom know eariler this week about it and she thought it was a great looking car and thought it would be nice for me as my '68 FB. Only if I could find someone with the money resources or STR8SIX changes his mind suddenly, will I be able to close my hand around my '68 FB dream. I'm such a wreck right now.....Oh yeah, the owner needs to know by this late evening if I'm going to come or not this weekend. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

That could be unbearable. I wish you all the best in getting over your pain.

I know it's not easy, but if you were meant to drive this car it will still work out. Hang in there!

I may beleive in charity and all that but even I have to draw the line somewhere /forums/images/icons/wink.gif (not to mention the fact I'm still working SWMBO over so I can buy this 68 fb).

I know of a 69 FB here in central coast CA, but I don;t know if the owner will part with it.....it does have the 31 spline 9 inch rear, a 4 speed toploader and a 351C 4v to boot.......it needs to be gone through. rebuild everything, paint, etc....
