O.K. Back on the old forum aways back someone asked what everyones username meant? And it was kind of interesting on the ingenuity some of you have. So now that were on the new forum, and a lot of folks had to change their handles, and more newcomers are here, I'm noticing alot of strange names.

So give it up, What's your username and what does it mean?

For any necomers, my name "Whizco" was derived from a previous Company I owned Whizco Enterprises, (Whiz= My last name, Whisenant / and co= Company = Whizco)

I know BORING!!!,

Doug

When I was 7 I got stabbed in the left index finger with a blue map pencil and it left a permanent blue mark. I've used it as an alias for years and even named my company Bluefinger Information Technologies, Inc. The old forum name was derived from my mustang web site URL http://www.bluestang.com.

Mine is probably pretty obvious. My name's Michelle, but Shelly has been a nickname of mine since I was little. And as you can see, Mustang Shelly sounds quite similar to Mustang Sally from the song of course. And the 390 part is because I have a 68 390 GT Fastback.

My nickname in real life is "cub", but it's usually unavailable for an internet sign on or anything else (I guess there's lots of other people with that nickname). So I've always added the "Tennessee" part to give me a name that won't kick out. Since when I first got online I've always used it because I simply can't remember multiple user names, passwords, etc.

Also, I never was able to use my real name with any ISP because it's so common: Joe Martin. Just to show you the commonality of it, there were 5 guys on my ship in the Navy (including me) with a form of the name Joe Martin (one guy was Joe Martinelli, the other 4 were Joe Martin).

The horse whisperer. You know, the movie about the guy that could get a pony to do just about anything he wanted to just with a little care and work. Well I don't JUST work with pony's so I'm just plain whisperer.

Y'all guessed that already though I'll bet.................*G*.

Well, I used bored8069 bc it is my aol name and I really only signed up on VMF to respond to a classified ad a long time ago but then i found the forum and i was hooked. I made it my aol name bc i couldnt think of anything and i was bored at the time so i thought why not. the #'s are just random #'s that aol sticks at the end of a name if what u put is already taken.

Several years ago I was a Battery Commander for an MLRS unit. When we went to SINCGARS radios and secure mode, we began using "hollywood" callsigns on the radio. Since I was the C (charlie) Battery Commander, we wanted something that began with C, so the First Sergeant and I chose Cobra.
Since I was the Commander, I was Cobra 6. When we used email or faxes, the 1SG and others began using Cobra 6 as the norm, and it stuck. Other newer commanders have also used the callsign, but I am still the original Cobra 6 to most of them.

My user name is pretty easy. Racer X was the mysterious race car driver from the old Speed Racer cartoons that I was so hooked on when I was a kid, and 76 is the number on my race car. Scott

Mine's not too hard to figure out. 65 K-code. I named my car Dorothy Ann because it was built on my mother's birthday. I realize that I can never sell it now, not that I ever would anyways.
