This question comes up every now and again, but I am putting a twist on it. There is 2 parts to this survey: What do you do for a living and what does your VMF handle mean? I just read my post from a few years ago and I need to update the what I do for a living part. You will also notice that there are links to posts made several years ago and many users are gone. The post lives on, but the user name is history. That is one reason that I end every post with my initials. :: OK here are the links to these same questions from the past. Username meaning and Bringing home the bacon fd

I have been working for a small company called Time and Alarm Systems since October. It is a company that primarily does low voltage electrical contracting work for the public school system in Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange counties. The company does the Sound, Phone, Fire Alarm, Intercom, and Clock systems. I am a service technician, which means that I go out and fix those systems when the school has a problem with it. I also help out with installations. I strap on my tool belt and pretend that I am a construction worker for the day. :: It is turning out to be a very cool job, but I have a lot to learn about the industry.
I started using the Ford Dude name in the Ranger forums. "Dude" is that a California thing? It is what a friend and I would call each other. And I like all Ford cars, :: well at least all of the vintage Fords, :: so I did not want to be one model specific. I just wish that when I signed up with this name I would have been smart enough to put a "_" between the Ford and the Dude so that would make me Ford Dude and not FordDude. :p fd

I am the tax manager for a CPA firm in middle Tennessee. I do a lot of personal, business and estate tax planning. You can probably guess where the username "taxman" comes from. The pony is a 65 fastback and I hope to get some pictures up soon.

My name is William Haggerson and I live with my wife and 2 small children in Charlotte, NC and I am an Area Operation Manager for a regional parking, property management company out of Atlanta. I oversee both self-parking garages and hotel valet parking operations.

When I joined VMF, I had no earthly idea what handle to use. My 66 Coupe has a 289 and I thought 289stang would be catchy - I guess. :)

I work for a Japanese car company, Honda, there i said it, It is actually a great company with great benifits. I am an inventory analyst at the parts distribution center that sends Honda and Acura parts to dealers throughout the country. I get to handle a lot of car parts. Fast68back, I figured someone would already have taken 68fastback, so that was the extent of my creativity, its not because its fast, heck i have never even driven it, at least not for real, I have spent many hours behind the wheel driving this car, mostly between the ages of 4 and 10.

I'm a Computer Network Engineer. As for my handle it is a combination of my first Nephew's, and Niece's names(Austin, and Madison).

My handle is from a screen name that AOL gave me when I first got on the internet(first name Mike, last name Tillery, the 58513, I have no earthly idea where they came up with that part)and it has kind of stuck. Got rid of the AOL though and much happier now. As for work, I repair test equipment for a military subcontractor that works with the Army.

Well I am a member of the Union Bricklayer local #4 I am a Caulker by trade(and yes they pay people to do that)
my handle is Sinpac how i got this handle was from an old John Wayne movie called in harms way where Henry Fonda played Cinpac Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet. i then changed the C to a S and there you have it.
