I have the extender for the oil pressure sending unit for my 302. Never installed on of these before and I know the oil pressure sending unit goes on the end but what goes in the first hole?

I had one also. One hole for dash gauge, one for aftermarket engine bay gauge. I used a threaded plug to eliminate the engine bay aftermarket one.

Could be. It was what was available in the late 90s when I built my original engine.

They have the single hole/threaded extension for the 67*73 Mustang. EXTENSION FITTING, OIL SENDING UNIT - #9B339-2 - National Parts Depot

what goes in the first hole ? yees ! use a gauge in one and warning light with Autometer sender in the other. Or a gauge and plug or a light and plug.

Some late 1980's F350 trucks had those. I use the end for a gauge sender and the inner one for an oil pressure warning light sender. I have another spare one that I sometimes will install temporarily so I can use my shop oil pressure gauge at the same time as a dash gauge to see how accurate the dash gauge is by comparison.
