You have got to be kidding. ::
Maybe you could afford the plastic model. ::
If true I'd say $1million+.
No doubt you've got a line on a fiberglass replica. In that case I'd guess $5k depending if the builder knew what they were doing. Just another kit car.
If this is the one I'm thinking about, I did have a pic of it. It was in someone's collection at the time. This was the blue/orange Gulf car. I don't remember the number though and I can't find my pic.
According to the info I have, the Ford Mark 1 GT-40 is classified as a F.I.A. GT prototype, first ran in Le Mans June, 1964, 3 entered, all failed to finish.
There was one that recently hit the auction block that was painted Gulf blue and orange to mimick the Lemans car. It was not a factory GT-40 but it was a continuation car made from spare parts after production ended. If I remember correctly it had a real monocoque, a short version tail and later model square headlights. It no-saled recently at auction from what I remember in the $350K range.
KBMWRS was right it was a #$#^*#ing
kit car and a 78 M II with louvers sitting next to it.
