I ordered a P/S boot kit from CJ about a month ago. When it arrived the boot was not in the kit. I keep trying to call them about the missing boot but either they never pick up when they put me on hold or they never call back when I request a call back. I have also emailed three times about the issue with no freaking response. Is anyone else having difficulty communicating with them? I have spent a lot of $$ with them for my project!! I'm at a point where I'm considering never buying from them again!!!

Unfortunately, this seems to be a growing trend with CJ. Iv'e always had a rough time with them, but that's most likely because I'm in the UK. Several times, I have placed orders with them for close to $1k, only to have them not send out the order because they're waiting on something like a $4 bumper bracket! More and more people appear to moving away from CJ's which is a shame, as from what I heard, they used to be a reputable and reliable resource.

I had been trying to contact them for over a week with multiple calls, emails, facebook messages and tweets.
I finally got an email from someone in their advertising department (IIRC) saying they were REALLY swamped and apologized for the issue.
He answered my question... I ordered a bunch of body parts (both doors, fenders and hood) and they were shipped the next day.

Evidently their issues with communications doesn't extend to fulfillment.

In the current environment, I think I might send back the bad parts for refund, and reorder.
Might be faster.

Seems like they do a decent job of fulfilling orders if the parts are in stock. If the item is out of stock or you get a bad item good luck getting a hold of anyone to get something going.

I'm guessing not too many people search the internet for complaints on companies or problems with parts BEFORE they buy something.

I got the wrong part sent to me from CJ recently. I emailed twice and asked for a callback twice with no response. I got a busy signal from their computer operator several times, and it hung up on me a bunch of times, sometimes after holding for 15 minutes or more... I finally got through after over a week of trying and they were very helpful. I understand they are overloaded right now, but I'm switching to NPD.

I ordered two months ago got half of the order the next day and the rest still has not shown up. You try and call either no answer or “we’ll call you back” guess what they don’t call back I finally after 20 emails got a response and he said they’d be here next week (that was 3 weeks ago) still haven’t gotten them and it was a $600 order

I ordered a set of 69 Mustang assembly manuals about 4 years ago. The day I ordered, they went on sale. I called customer service and got a guy suffering from a terminal case of cranial rectumitus. He wouldn't budge and give me the sale price. I figured I lost about $5 or so, but in the meantime, I have bought about $25K or more from everybody but them, so f em. Still not finished with the car, but will not spend another penny with them.

I have owned my 64.5 for 52 years. I have spent a lot of money on it keeping it near concourse. I was treated so rudely about a year ago by CJ that I will never order from the again. There are plenty of other places to buy your Mustang parts.

Fortunately for them, they seem to carry very little inventory and have most stuff drop shipped...auction would probably pretty short.

I ordered from them once, order was missing pieces and they fixed that in a few days but my driver project was delayed a few days. I just don't take chances with them after all the horror stories. I don't think "out of stock" or "COVID-19" problems are valid excuses for the way they hold orders, fail to communicate, or treat customers because every company out there has the same choices to make.

I had problems with them answering any emails, phone calls, messenger, just about any way you can contact someone. They never did answer. Solution? I don't buy from them anymore. To many other places with the same prices and nice people. NPD, Virginia Classic Mustang are my favorites.
