Ask CT He'll give you an answer all right! *G*.

Is the flasher wire plugged into the loom or is it spliced? If it is just plugged; I would unplug it and see if that makes any difference. i'm betting that's the beginnign of your problems. With 2 signal switches it sound like someone tried to wire around a problem.
You may have to pull the whole under dash loom and try to put it back to original. I'm assuming you checked bulbs and grounds out 1st; if not start there.

You didn't say if you've checked the bulbs, contacts and
grounds. Do your running lights all work? Brake lights?

First and foremost check all the bulbs and if possible check and see if you're getting power at the turn signals. The emergency flasher that you describe sounds fishy to me. On my 69 turnsignal switch the power to the turn signals is routed through the hazard switch. It's an integral part of the wiring. BTW, a bad hazard switch is what made my turn signal switch go bad.

In this time i did check contacts, bulbs, and grounds. But after i posted i went out and i follow the wires from the lights to the steering column. They all seemed to be fine. And i have to check the hazard fuse.

There is no fuse specific to only the hazard flasher.

Check continuity between the various signal lights to each corner to each other and to ground. They should all read something other than 0 ohms. Your underdash/steering column wiring is all screwed up from your description, and getting a Osborne Electrical Assembly Manual and tracing wires is about your only recourse to getting things right, short of replacing all the underdash wiring harness ($400).

Yikes! Talk to Baracu...he can do what I was talking about. Very simple, actually, if you know 'lectricity. If not, don't try it: you'll likely cause the car to catch fire, explode, and then, where will you be? *G*

I have no plans to be in PA within the next 9 days. So sorry...wish I could help. Why not drive it down to Panama City? Heh heh...
