I don't have the original ECM did you get the pets system removed
Sorry to hear about all the problems, but reading your posts it’s impossible to understand what problem you are having. You said the PATS is disabled (how) and the engine is firing, so what problem are you having? Disabling the PATs without tuning the PCM is complicated and can disable power to the fuel pumps, ignition, and fans. You need to go to Corral.net or www.sn95forums.com. They have folks who can help you. This site is for Vintage Mustangs.
Lets gets some terminolgy right. You’ll get better responses if you use the correct terms. You are asking about the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS). It’s not an ECM. Ford calls it a Power Train Control Modules (PCM) or an Engine Control Unit (ECU). Between 96-98 the 4.6L Mustang GT used dual coil packs like you have. 99-2004 years switched to Coil on Plug. There are conversion kits available, but it would be easier to get the correct 98GT PCM and wiring that your car came with.
Of course none of this seems important since you posted a phone number for an escort service in LA in a lame attempt to get people to call.
