yep, it was on the engine when painted at the engine plant.

I have seen many shades of FCB offered in rattle cans.

This is the best source I have found. Real engine enamel, takes a week to dry before starting, but tacks off so slowly it can be brushed on without streaks. And they nail the colors, including FCB.

I painted my '55 engine over 20 years ago and it still looks good. Painted it in the car, after thorough degreasing, using small brushes. Even the stamped parts are smooth.
