E-bay is where the fast top money is found for a desireable car. More people to fight over it there. Also, you don't have to worry about what it is worth and come up with an asking price. A series of great clear pictures showing everything someone would want to see and a listing providing all the info you would want to know if buying is all it takes.

PS: This isn't a really clever scam is it?? ::

No, that is why I will not put a price here for it. I will pay my $5.00 and put an ad up as soon as I take some better photos.

Thank you for all of your input. I have decided to try to sell it as is first. I was bidding on Ebay on all of the Shelby fiberglass stuff but after listening to your input I decided after I sell some of my Mustangs, Harleys, etc. I will find a rougher 1967 to 1968 Mustang to start with.

Thanks again for all of your help and encouragement.

I agree keep it orig, Mine is a C code, But has all orig GTCS california special parts.Find a less optioned car and clone it.I just talked to a guy that sold a 68 conv GT350 clone for $49,000.00 .Most of them sell for $28-38K.

Keep it original!

Before you try to sell it, put the factory C-stripe on it. It should be black because the interior is black.

Other than the stripe I would not do anything to it. If the underneath is solid I think that you will get at least $20K for it.

You never said but I'm assuming that this is a 302-4V (J-code) car because the engine picture looks like a small block. If so, I wonder where the 8 grand tach came from. Only the 390/428 cars came with an 8 grand tach in 1968.
