Hello I am trying to track down a replacement cap and rotor for my Accel Dual Point Distributor 30200. Does anyone know the part number or where I can get a new cap and rotor?

I believe it is a mopar style cap. Look at pictures of small block dodge distributor caps.

Accel 30200 (rumor is that all Accel 30000 series are the same; Not Mopar but GM-based parts) .......... Accel part number listed first-

110128 (street) 110129 (race) points ~ 2 sets ~ use: 56-74 GM Delco # D106P or D112P / GM long numbers 1931988 and 1966294

100107 condenser ~ use: 55-56 Chevy Delco # D203 / GM long number 1928111

120123 dist cap ~ use: 55-56 Chevy Delco # D305 / GM long number 1917247 or 12338675. (Accel used a skinny square cut O ring on originals)

130116 rotor ~ use: 55-56 Chevy Delco # D407 / GM long number 1927393

Info found in 1977 Accel catalog.

Thank you!!! this is very helpful. Do you know how to convert this dual point to a pertronix igniter?

I wonder if Accell changed it or do the GM and Mopar have the same dimensions? I have a Accell dual point I bought used about 25 years ago. I remember going to the local Napa and trying different caps and rotors. The small block Mopar is what I remember buying.

Can't answer that question about the GM & Mopar having the same specs. I do think that that is a common notion out in cyberspace.
From significant experience working for AC-Delco I can say that (for whatever reason) the GM ignition stuff is frequently the basis of what
other aftermarket companies base their stuff off of..... My guess is that they're basing this marketing model mainly from purely sales velocity/popularity.
In the case of Chevy point distributors, I find this interesting because they only ran the design they're "famous" for from 56-74, or 18 years. Basically the
same amount of time that Ford ran a similar points distributor.

Looks like the kit for the prestolite/chrysler/jeep distributors......

I was wondering that too. I know AMC used the Prestolite starting in 75. It could be the same cap as the Mopar. International Harvester used a points distributor that used male terminals that fits the Ford distributor as long as you use the I H rotor as well. I know I have that cap and rotor.

Well now I’m frustrated. I’ve gotten the distributor back from the shop getting all new points, condenser, rotor and cap. And set to the specs given. I have the car all back together and it won’t start… nothing not firing at all. I’ve checked TDC on no.1 and checked distributor cap location of no.1 and rotor is pointing directly at it. Followed the firing order and have all new spark plugs and new wires new coil and new engine gauge wire harness too. I’m at a loss to check what’s next.
