Correct heater resistor? 1969

I have a '69 mustang WITHOUT A/C.

I can't seem to find the correct heater resistor for a '69 mustang without air conditioning.

Looking at the pictures of the resistor for the non ac 65-68 cars, they look like they would work?

I'm confused on which I need.

Also, I'm missing whatever hold the resistor in the heating box, where can I find this mysterious little clip thingys?

It's not available new. What's wrong with yours?

Oddly, the entire 69-70 heater is reproduced, except the resistor-

Mine is so rusted you can't even tell the color of the metal lol.

Not to mention one of the contacts has come off..

I tested the motor and it worked, so I'm assuming the crappy resistor is why my girlfriend complains how my car is "freezing" and "doesn't have a heater" LOL

Not to hijack but what is the contact board on the back of the fan speed lever on the heater controls. Mine falls out which would tell me somethings not right
