I stumbled on this place looking for parts, and joined a few weeks ago. Seems like a good group of folks here. I hang out on a gun forum most of the time, and I see from the meltdown in the 67 68 for sale forum, that things are pretty much the same all over. LMAO.

We purchased a 70 coupe for my wife last year, and I have started the rebuild process. It appears many of the parts for the coupe are in the hard to find category?

This will be number six major restoration, but my first vintage Mustang. Others have included a 66 Bronco, and 70 Torino GT. I'm sure as we move along I'll have questions for this group.

Thanks for your time.

Greg

A lot of great info here Greg. You'll be glad you came here and welcome. There's another site called allfordmustangs.com. But if you want rapid responses, stay here. If you want to wait more than 2 days for a reply, go there. LoL. But let us know anything you need, what your plans are, etc. Also, your location too. Might have a member around the corner from you.

Welcome to VMF. You restored the 70 Torino GT? The 70 Mustang should be piece of cake compared to the Torino. I had 2 70 Torino Verts...been there!

Have fun, enjoy,
Slim

Welcome, fellow Michigander.
Hope to see you around this summer. I am always at the cruises and Dearborn Mustang Memories show. Hope to see you.
Get a Marti Report. Your car has a vinyl top. It might be a Grande.

Welcome here. Lots of people from Michigan here. I see you have same problem where the cars stalk you down and force you to buy them lol.

Stubby, welcome to the forum. Best Mustang forum on the web! I have tons of 69 parts for sale and I'm 25 minutes away in Jackson. You are welcome to come see if there is anything you can use, no shipping! You messaged me about the lower dash. I will have a swap meet spot at the May 10-11 car show in Coldwater, will also have my 69 Mach 1 there. My brother lives off Waldron rd in Jerome, so I know the area a bit. Look forward to meeting a fellow mustanger!
