Oh, I forgot about those trim pieces that fit over the taillight panel.
There's maybe 14 nuts/bolts holding the two pieces on?
Figure 15-20 minutes to remove... And don't forget to order new nuts/bolts, since you'll probably break a few taking them off.
Im tempted to do a satin black back end. However id have to rattle can it, & I havnt had very good/durable results from walmart-autozone paint.....what option and years was that anyway?
The 67 rear ribbed panel was either body color or charcoal black metallic. The taillight panel could be ordered painted charcoal black metallic, too, as that was a separate option.
It was a unique color for that option, in 1967 only. See the bottom of the left column-
