What's going on with Stangnet?

Does anyone also visit Stangnet? I had not been on it for a while and when I logged in it said my account was banned due to Spam. I used the contact page to send them two messages a few weeks ago to try to correct the problem with zero response. So I re-registered with a new moniker a few days ago. I just tried to login with my new account and it is banned for Spam also. What the heck? I want to send a message directly to one of the Admins, but I can't because my accounts are banned and I can't do anything on the site.

Does anyone that goes to Stangnet want to send a message to one of the Admins on the Classic Mustang forum on my behalf? Thanks

Man, StangNet was fun back in the day. We had a good thing going there in the 200-2010 range. I tried to make VMF work, but the forum software was so bad back then, I couldn’t do it.

Any old schoolers remember some of those heroes back then? GP001, Pakrat, Monkey… those were good times.

edit: had to include Hakan, the cool Swede.

A big Thanks goes out to Husky44! He helped me to get in touch with an admin on Stanget and I got my account reset. Thanks again(y)

It's pretty slow over there right now for first Gen cars. It would be good to have a few more dinosaurs there with me.

I made some connections there in the Fox/5.0 crowd when I had my 95, and still find that site to be really helpful with my engine and transmission in the 67.

Glad I could help. 😊
