I know there have been a hundred posts for AOD transmissions, but the search will not allow a three letter search!

Who thinks we should be able to search for three letters....here are some examples that frustrate me to no end:

EFI
AOD
TCP
AMK
GTA
HID
FMX
TFS
RHS
MSD
SFM

5.0
All of the engine sizes 260, 289, 306, 347, etc.

PLEASE ADD your three letter combinations, and maybe we can initiate a change

Use google to search this site,in the goolge search type in:

aod site:vintage-mustang.com

it will only seach vintage-mustang.com for any post with AOD.
Thats a good trick. I tried it with C6, You have to weed through all the folks with C6 in their signature but you can find posts dealing with C6.

Apparently, there is no fixing the search. It was meant to be constructive, and by no means a Bob or VMF bashing post, I was only a little frustrated at the search engine and was hoping that it would be possible to make a change.

Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob! Thank you Bob!

VMF was pointed out to me a year ago. In over 50 years working on
old cars nothing comes close! Other than voluntary contributions it's free!!

Let's see :p the Google guys make 100's of $millions. Bob $0.

Thanks for that tip!!! :) I did not know about that capability on Google.

As far as the original post - its Bob's forum - he gets to make the rules. I'm sure if someone volunteered to pay for the servers he would be willing to change, short of that I just say: "Thank You!" for whatever is provided!
